We’re looking for a part-time intern, starting mid-late June through mid-late August
Stipend: somewhere between $800-$2200 total,
depending on availability/time commitment (8 hrs a week versus 20)
The most ideal candidates would be persons who are:
pursuing or a recent graduate with a graphic design or some type of visual communications degree. Self-taught also welcome!
looking to increase practical experience with Adobe Indesign, but must have at least 1 yr experience with the full suite (Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PPT specifically) and comfortable using Google docs (sheets) and Dropbox.
comfortable executing tasks like:
- text edits and light design edits to already designed files ( booklets, posters, PPT presentation templates)
- spinning new prototype promo/branding design concepts with direction
- researching new concepts and ideas—organizing said concepts in folders online for "vision boarding"open to possibly supporting art activation events:
- Englewood Arts Collective event support (flyers; social media)
- *optional* Helping in-person at events on the South Side (working a table, helping with set-up, etc)organized. can follow directions pertaining to backing-up files and file uploading/organization. Responsive to zoom meeting invites.
